Saturday, 8th Jun 2019 - Commodores Cruise

10 boats made it to Rugeley aqueduct despite the poor weather. 2 other boats had to cancel Saturday due to the poor conditions. We all managed to moor on one side of the aqueduct with a couple of boats double breasted. As it was too wet to sit outside the group of 16 split into 2 and spent Saturday evening on Bethany Bear & Jake with a changeover halfway through the evening. A good time was had by all. Sunday morning saw the group go their various ways. 2 continued on their planned cruise. 4 went on to Tixall and the remaing 2 boats made their way back to the club. The weather continued to be wet with the occasional spell of sunshine. Felt more like October than June. Another successful Commodores cruise.
