Membership Details
Lichfield Cruising Club welcomes applications from boat owners (Mooring membership) and none boat owners (Social membership). We do not offer residential moorings/membership.
As a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), we expect members to actively participate in the current club activities and to contribute to the development of the club in the future. Arrangements can be made for Social members to act as crew on another member’s boat to participate in the sport and current activities.
The majority of the moorings available are for boats of 57ft or less. Moorings for boats exceeding 57ft are currently more limited on the main line.
Mooring membership includes the spouse or partner of the boat owner and their children up to the age of 18 years. Social membership is on a per person basis.
Sometimes, when our membership for boat moorings is full, and /or our none boating (Social) membership is closed to new applications, we will operate a waiting list. When membership is reopened applications will be dealt with in chronological order.
Membership fees (as from October 2023) are:
| Joining Fee (Mooring Membership): | £700.00 |
| Joining Fee (Social and Associate Boat Membership): | £30.00 per person |
| Mooring Membership Fee: | £300.00 per year |
| Senior, Social and Associate Boat Membership Fee: | £60.00 per year |
| Mooring Fee: | £19.50 per ft per year |
Note that Lichfield Cruising Club is not VAT registered - there is no VAT to add to these fees.
